Unlock Steering Wheel[edit]

  • Insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the first step. The air conditioning and radio should turn on but the engine will not turn over.
  • Shimmy the steering wheel left and right vigorously while turning the key fully in the ignition.
  • Turn the wheel hard to the direction the tires are facing. Turn the key in the ignition. This method may work if the "shimmy" technique proves ineffective.
